Christos House Benefit Art Show and Sale

West Plains Council on the Arts and Christos House will host an Art Show and Sale at the Christos House Resale Shop April 7, 6-8 p.m., to highlight Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Seven area artists are donating a portion of the proceeds from any sales to benefit Christos House.

“Through the Chamber’s Non-profit Alliance, West Plains Council on the Arts has become more aware of the needs and challenges of agencies such as Christos House. We are pleased to be able to facilitate this Art Show and Sale for their benefit, and to introduce attendees to some amazing local artists.”

From the artists’ representative Janey Hale:
“As artists, we paint our world to show the beauty in the “everyday”. We know not everyone experiences life from this perspective. These artists believe in giving back to help those whose “everyday” is less than picture-perfect.”
